Do People Get Rich?
Do people get rich or is it just a myth spread by network marketers just to sell you their product? Its difficult to see the difference between the genuine opportunities and the bogus tricksters if you don’t know what to look for.
If someone is suggesting you can make a huge amount of money by buying their e-book or guide for a small fee, £19.99 or something similar wouldn’t everyone be doing it? If the person selling the product really was that successful would they waste their time on small sales?
I have purchased many get rich quick schemes and fallen for the sales guys smooth speech about how you will soon be richer than you ever imagined. I remember one in particular where an insurance sales man offered me the chance to become a millionaire for a starting investment of only £10 a month increasing each year and reinvesting the income from each 10 year plan to become a millionaire in 25 years. I fell for it purchased his plan as well as a mortgage endowment plan. And of course now I’m 20 years down the line and ready to take the fruits of my endeavors and retire in 5 years.
Not really the standard sales speech was well know by my next financial adviser, he even knew what I was talking about when I called it the millionaire plan. There is no such thing as a simple get rich quick plan, to achieve your goals whether it be financially oriented or otherwise everything takes time and effort. Well thats not actually true you could always win the lottery, but do you really want to rely on being the one in a million who actually wins his or her fortune?
It is true that people do get rich, you can see them every day in the news, the tabloids and of course on the internet. They have worked to get where they are or at least most of them have, the lucky winners are few and far between. It takes time to build a career and to be comfortably off.
Do people get rich, yes they do but not simply by buying a cheap ebook and never applying the principles therein. Take the spider web system for example there are 22 income streams described in the promotional literature. The people in the “team” have been promoting the system for some time now and the prospects are less than in the first instance. There are still opportunities to make yourself some money but the easy sales that were the origins of the system are now all through. To make money you have to promote your site, get the traffic and cash the cheques. The big benefit of this system is that it really is self perpetuating provided you set it up right in the first place and promote it. The income comes in from multiple sources over time though not a big get rich quick scheme.
How can you get rich I hear you ask, there really is no simple answer it depends on what you are looking for specifically. You people often see £5000 as a lot of money while a spoilt brat growing up in Hollywood might just treat $10000 as pin money for a night out. Getting rich is not even everyones goal, wouldn’t you be better off being happy with your lot and taking your financial position for what it is?
That depends very much on your own personal perspective on life if you have nothing then maybe you envy those around you. Think of a monk or other clergy that suits your spiritual beliefs, they have nothing but they are rich, but not financially they have the love of god and direction in their life, everything they need to fulfill gods work.

Great post. I do know a handful of people who have become very wealthy at network marketing, but it took years of sowing seeds without seeing much immediate results.

Do people get rich? Of course they do; who else would be buying $16000 purses? But, I would like to put it into perspective. After the loss of our house a afew years ago after a foreclosure resulting from a corporate downsizing, I was lamenting my plight. I sat next to a relative of my husband’s who had just lost her only son in a car accdent. They had a beautiful mansion and three lexus, but she quickly told me that a house didn’t matter That much. She reminded me I still had my son. I think that was an “Aha moment” for me. Wealth, Health, and Happiness……it comes in different forms. And, btw, I still BELIEVE in possibilities!
Do people get rich, its just network markets if if you want to do network you can start but don’t you do bogus tricksters because some people are hugging bogus marketing and they want be get rich.

I can understand how you came to that conclusion because I thought the same thing, until someone educated me. Here is a fact you may want to know: There is room in the market for hundreds of thousands of SpiderWebMarketing members to EACH earn Tens of Thousands of dollars per month! The surface has not even been scratched, yet! Sky’s the limit..YOU CAN DO IT!
